What you get for £199 a month

• Top of the page. Your business appears in the Featured and Sponsored slots, above the standard listings.
• Where customers compare. Your business shows on your own page, on your category pages, on your town and area pages, and alongside similar businesses — the pages where someone is choosing between local firms.
• The Sponsored badge so customers can see it is a paid position — the same transparency we apply to every placement.
• Your logo displayed and your website link live on your listing.
• Priority ahead of unsponsored listings in the same category and area.
• Month to month. No contract, no tie-in, cancel whenever you like. Cancelling never removes your free listing.
• 18 and over. Placements are for businesses and must be ordered and paid for by someone aged 18 or over.

Also available: advertising on The Central Belt postcard — one A4 card delivered to 10,000 homes in one area, one business per trade, £350 a slot (£199 for featured advertisers). See postcard advertising.

Who it is for

Local businesses in Glasgow, Edinburgh and across the central belt that want to be the first one seen in their trade and their town: garages and MOT stations, salons and barbers, restaurants and takeaways, trades and home services, professional and business services, shops, and visitor attractions.

What we do not promise

We do not sell guaranteed Google rankings, SEO services, review manipulation, exclusivity in a town or category, or a set number of leads. If you ask us for figures, we will send you the real ones rather than a number we cannot stand behind.

Questions

Is my free listing affected? No. It stays free and it stays live. Sponsorship only changes where you appear.

Is there a contract? No. It is £199 a month, month to month. Cancel whenever you like — by emailing us or by cancelling your Direct Debit — and it stops at the end of the month you have already paid for. Your placement stays live until then, and your free listing is never removed.

Can I get a refund? The month already served is not refundable, because the placement ran on the site for that month. If we end your placement for our own reasons, we refund the unused part. Full detail is in our terms.

Do I have to be 18? Yes. Paid placements may only be ordered and paid for by someone aged 18 or over — if you are under 18, an adult authorised by the business has to place and pay for the order.

How many businesses are on the directory? Over 38,000 across Scotland, in every category and town we cover — which is exactly why the featured slots are worth having.

How do I set it up? Pay online with the button on this page — secure checkout by Stripe, £199 a month, month to month — and we will email you within one working day to collect your logo and confirm the placement. Prefer to speak to someone first? Send the form below or email hello@thecentralbelt.com.
